Make the therapist clean your knee with alcohol to make the area sterile before beginning the procedure.
Therapy includes the use of magnets or electromagnets. These magnets are said to generate magnetic fields that can be pulsed or turned on and off rapidly. This therapy is not curative, and research has not found its effectiveness.

Physical therapy is another useful alternative therapy for knee pain. The physical therapist will help teach you exercise techniques according to your ability. You can even try occupational therapy wherein the expert will show you methods to reduce strain on your knees.
Chiropractic therapy helps treat the muscle spasms that are painful and do not let us sleep peacefully. With chiropractic manipulation, the muscle spasms are reduced and thus easing the pain to some extent.
